Reward offered

A CHILD DESERTED.

ELIZABETH BROWN, lately a servant in the Bridewell here, having, some months ago, brought forth a bastard child, and having about three weeks ago deserted it,

A REWARD of FIVE GUINEAS

is hereby offered by the Kirk Session of Old Aberdeen, to any person who will give information where she is to be found, and detain her till the child can be sent to her.  She is of a middle stature; of a full make; has red hair; and a smooth complexion.  Is a native of the parish of Glenbervie; and commonly wore a habit of brown cloth.  She was seen on the south road after deserting her child.

N.B.  The five guineas over and above the expense of detaining her.
