Snowstorm fatality

A woman of the name of Christian Henderson, lost her life in the violent storm of drifting snow of the 1st curt. when, almost within a stone-throw of Tillycorthy, on her return to her home, in the parish of Foveran, where she was well known as an industrious honest woman, long in the practice of selling fish through the country, in which she had just been engaged in a neighbouring parish.
